I have always has meaningful relationships or so I believe .. it’s because I am uncomplicated, I don’t expect and I accept a person if I like them.

My BIL and SIL moving to a country far far away , leaving my aunt behind. She is strong and she can take care of herself , super independent , she is inspiring to have raised the boy all alone Absconding husband. The relationship with this family special because BIL is a gem of a person , looking up to my husband and us too.
Their new home now being close to us, but this young couple as dynamic and promising got a great opportunity in Australia. So proud !!
Now his mom will be alone for atleast 7 months .. and aging and may need support, until then it was a little distant relationship.Now it changes , suddenly we become very important and calls and messages increase, gift fly in .. calls come.. why because we will take care of her when she needs us.. in emergency or any situation!
so is this being selfish ? Or being practical do they have a choice ? What can’t they depend on us , we are family ! I have no complaints, we love them ! But I notice and think about it !
